The genus Neocaridina Kubo, 1938, is a group of land-locked species of the family Atyidae that consists of 26 species and is distributed in East Asia [ 1, 2 ]. Based on the Taiwanese atyid shrimp fauna [ 3, 4 ], only one species, N. denticulate, is distributed throughout Taiwan Island.
